Khaberni - The Highway Patrol Directorate announced today the suspension of traffic on several major external routes due to dense dust and zero visibility.
The Directorate stated in its announcement that traffic has been halted from Al-Karamah borders towards Safawi, and also from before the desert area of Maqat towards Al-Karamah borders, due to the zero visibility caused by dust.
It was also added that traffic has been halted in front of Al-Ashqaf station towards the borders, where there is dense dust and near zero horizontal visibility due to the severe dust in the Maqat area.
The Highway Patrol Directorate calls on citizens and drivers to exercise the utmost caution while traveling on external roads, affirming that its patrols are deployed on the roads for guidance and direction.
