Khaberni - The Meteorological Department predicts a rapid fluctuation in temperatures after a rise to summer-like levels at the start of this week, followed by a noticeable drop accompanied by thunderous rain on Monday.
According to the Jordanian Meteorological Department, estimates indicate the beginning of the appearance of medium and high clouds on Sunday evening, with a slight chance of forming local thunderstorm cells, especially in parts of the northeastern desert.
A rapid change in the weather is likely to occur on Monday, characterized by a clear drop in temperatures in most parts of the kingdom, accompanied by the formation of thunderclouds and heavy rain, possibly with hail in some areas, especially in the eastern desert.
The meteorological department warns of the possibility of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas due to rising water levels in the northeastern desert areas.
Temperatures will return to pleasant weather in the kingdom on Tuesday and Wednesday, described as warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba areas, while dropping in most areas at night accompanied by light northwesterly winds.
Weather data indicates a return to rising temperatures on Thursday and Friday, with warm to hot weather prevailing in various parts of the kingdom.
