Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II received at the Husainiya Palace, on Sunday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jirah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, in the presence of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.
The meeting discussed the strong relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to expand cooperation in various fields, in addition to the need to intensify joint Arab efforts to sustain the calming in the region.
His Majesty the King emphasized the necessity for any de-escalation agreement to ensure the security of the Arab states, emphasizing that the security of the Gulf is fundamental to the security and stability of the region and the world.
His Majesty also pointed out the necessity to support Lebanon in its efforts to maintain its security, stability, and sovereignty, and to prevent any Israeli attempts to exploit the regional situation to impose a new reality in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and the Director of His Majesty's Office, Engineer Alaa Batayneh.
