Khaberni - The Faculty of Science and Information Technology at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a specialized workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Management", presented by Vice Dean Dr. Tareq Kenaan, attended by several deans, administrative department managers, and university employees, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance the culture of digital transformation and develop institutional competencies.
The workshop covered several specialized topics, including the concepts of artificial intelligence and its growing role in enhancing administrative work environments, mechanisms for employing smart technologies to improve institutional performance, enhance decision-making efficiency, and streamline procedures, along with showcasing the latest practical applications that contribute to boosting productivity and service quality.
During the workshop, Dr. Kenaan emphasized the importance of keeping pace with rapid technological developments, noting that artificial intelligence is no longer a future option but has become a fundamental tool in building more flexible and efficient institutions with the capacity for innovation, which positively reflects on the quality of work and services provided.
The workshop also witnessed notable interaction from participants through discussions and inquiries about the opportunities to benefit from artificial intelligence applications in various administrative units, the challenges associated with adopting these technologies, and mechanisms for their implementation that preserve institutional expertise and enhance the university's readiness for future requirements.
This workshop is part of a series of training and awareness programs carried out by Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, aimed at developing the skills of its human resources, fostering an innovative work environment, and enhancing its academic and administrative stature in the fields of digital transformation and institutional development.
