Khaberni  -  As part of Amman Arab University's commitment to enhancing communication between students and graduates and exchanging practical experiences, following the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al Wadyan, the president of Amman Arab University, and supported by Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the Business School, the Finance Department/Business School hosted graduate Basel Al-Hammaydeh, one of the distinguished alumni, who is currently working at Ijara for Financial Leasing, to deliver a lecture titled: "Financial Leasing," to students of the Financial Institutions course, in the presence of Dr. Raad Al-Samadi, head of the Finance Department, and Dr. Mohannad Al-Majali, a faculty member in the Business School.

Al-Hammaydeh began the meeting by emphasizing the importance of the field training component in the curriculum, noting that his experience during it represented a pivotal turning point in his career, as it provided him an opportunity to join the same company he trained with after graduation. In his lecture, he discussed the concept of financial leasing companies, exploring their organizational structure and main departments, explaining the nature of the tasks each unit performs, alongside clarifying the fundamental differences between them and banks, and addressed the types of assets these companies finance. At the end of the meeting, Al-Hammaydeh offered a series of practical tips for the students, highlighting the importance of acquiring specialized skills and enrolling in specialized training courses, which enhances their prospects of joining the job market and improves their professional readiness after graduation.

The lecture witnessed noticeable interaction from the students who asked many questions and inquiries about the nature of the work of financial leasing companies and the career paths available in this sector. Al-Hammaydeh answered their questions, providing valuable insights from his experience. It should be noted that this initiative is part of a series of meetings organized by the Finance Department at Amman Arab University with graduates, aimed at enhancing communication between students and the job market, broadening their career horizons, and linking the academic side with practical applications in the financial sector.
