Khaberni - Renowned beauty expert and influencer "Claudia Glam" succumbed to her injuries after being deliberately run over by a former star of the "X Factor" program, following a violent altercation that took place in front of a nightclub in London.
The authorities reported that the victim, whose real name is Claudia Zakrevska (32 years old), had entered into a deadly clash with Gabrielle Carington in the early hours of April 19th, in the famous "Soho" district of London.
Surveillance cameras captured a horrifying video of the altercation, showing Carington (29 years old) in the driver's seat of her black "Mercedes" car, before she accelerated towards Zakrevska at full speed. The footage also showed the accused reversing the car, revealing the victim lying unconscious on the sidewalk.
The tragedy did not stop there, as Carington, during her rush, hit a 58-year-old man, who suffered injuries described as "life-altering" due to their severity, in addition to another woman in her thirties, who sustained minor injuries.
After struggling with death for a full week in the hospital, the Metropolitan Police officially announced the death of Zakrevska on Saturday.
The accused Gabrielle Carington, formerly known as a singer in the girl group "Miss Dynamix" and a participant in the British version of "X Factor" in 2013, was initially facing a series of charges including: attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, and dangerous driving under the influence of alcohol. With the victim's death, the police confirmed that the charges would be upgraded to "premeditated murder".
In her first court appearance, Carington only spoke to confirm her identity, but she caused controversy with a behavior described as "bold and provocative", where she made a "heart" sign with her hands to her supporters present in the courtroom. Her trial is scheduled to resume on May 19th next.
