Khaberni - A video recorded a terrifying moment when a cable snapped on an amusement park ride in the Spanish city of Seville, causing the seats carrying passengers to fall rapidly towards the ground while swinging in the air.
The footage showed the "Steel Max" slingshot ride launching before the rope suddenly snapped amid the screams of the spectators, in a horrifying scene. Other scenes showed passengers lying on the ground waiting for emergency teams to arrive.
The incident, which occurred on Friday evening during the "Feria de Abril" fair, resulted in four people sustaining minor injuries, including two children, while two other children remained hanging in the air for a period before being rescued.
Meanwhile, the Seville City Council announced that an official investigation by the local police is underway to determine the technical reasons behind the accident.
