Khaberni - Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egypt national football team, revealed the details of the injury sustained by the team captain Mohamed Salah during his match with Liverpool against their guest Crystal Palace in round 34 of the English League.
Salah fell to the ground in the 58th minute after a sprint with one of Crystal Palace's defenders, before grabbing his hamstring and asking to be substituted.
Press reports conveyed by Ibrahim Hassan indicated that initial examinations confirmed Mohamed Salah suffered a tear in the hamstring, confirming that he is expected to be out for up to four weeks.
The national team manager reassured the fans regarding the player's participation in the World Cup, noting that the technical staff will continuously monitor his condition, in preparation for his return to normal before the kickoff of the 2026 World Cup.
