Dana White appeared in an interview with media after the assassination attempt on President Trump last night during his attendance with his wife Melania Trump, his deputy JD Vance, and other senior officials at the White House correspondents' dinner.
White described the event, saying: "We heard sounds and noise, and suddenly chaos prevailed, security men stormed in armed and screaming get down to the ground!!".
White added: "As for me, I didn’t lie down...how could I when I would miss this experience, it was truly thrilling."
US President Donald Trump released surveillance camera footage of the moment a gunman opened fire during the assassination attempt at the White House correspondents' dinner at the "Washington Hilton" hotel in the US capital.
Trump said the shooting was directly targeting him, confirming the arrest of the perpetrator and minor injuries to one of the security personnel.
Trump criticized the lax security measures at the event location, considering that the building "was not secured sufficiently," noting that he had to duck quickly and take a protective stance, and mentioned that there were two previous assassination attempts on him.
