Khaberni - The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafaza, issued a circular directed to the presidents of universities and deans of both public and private faculties, calling for the necessity of cooperating with students who have been called for military service (second batch), and providing the necessary facilitations for them.
The circular emphasized the necessity to verify the students' invitations through text messages sent to their phones, and to ensure that all final exams for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026 for these students are completed by no later than June 18, 2026. If this is not possible, the exams will be considered incomplete according to the university or college regulations.
The circular also stipulated that the absence of students called to perform military service during medical examinations and recruitment procedures is considered excused. The administrative procedures should continue according to current regulations, with medical exams to be conducted from May 3 to May 21, 2026, and recruitment procedures to take place between June 1 and June 18, 2026.
