Khaberni - Vladimir Zelensky announced his readiness to conduct a new round of tripartite negotiations with Russia and the United States in Azerbaijan.
Zelensky said in a press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, "We have conducted such negotiations in Turkey, and with American partners in Switzerland. We are ready to conduct such negotiations in Azerbaijan."
It is worth mentioning that the spokesperson for the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov, previously stated that the pause in the tripartite negotiations on Ukraine was due to the United States being preoccupied with Middle Eastern issues.
Peskov also indicated that the Kremlin is counting on the continuation of the tripartite negotiations on Ukraine after coordinating the schedules of all parties, especially the American side.
The Kremlin spokesperson also emphasized that Zelensky must decide to have the Ukrainian forces leave the territories of Donbas and exit beyond the administrative borders of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The previous round of Russia - United States - Ukraine tripartite consultations was held in Geneva on February 17 and 18 of the previous year.
