850 Million Turkish Artist Denies His Children His Fortune and Donates it to His Country

Khaberni - Turkish artist Ibrahim Tatlıses surprised the audience by announcing an official will that deprives his seven children of his massive inheritance, directing his entire fortune to the Turkish state, specifically for the benefit of the "Muhammad Çiçek Association" which supports the armed forces, following his departure from the hospital today after a successful surgery.

The famous star confirmed in statements in front of a crowd of journalists that he had made a final decision to transfer ownership of all his money and properties to the state, emphasizing that his children will not receive "a single penny" from this inheritance.

Tatlıses justified this step by stating repeated disappointments from some of his children, saying: "I have prepared my will and donated everything to the state.. I will not leave them any inheritance; this money was not inherited from my father but earned through my effort and sweat, and I am free to dispose of it as I wish."

He added that the name "Ibrahim Tatlıses" in itself is a sufficient moral legacy to open all doors for them, indicating that they did not properly utilize this name, and that the actions of some of them caused harm to other diligent members of the family.

These statements once again highlight the enormous size of Ibrahim Tatlıses's economic empire, with estimates suggesting that the market value of his businesses ranges between 150 million and 850 million dollars.

This wealth is distributed across sectors of real estate, tourism, and media; the famous artist owns massive residential complexes in the "Seyran Tepe" area of Istanbul and luxury villas in Bodrum, in addition to major hotels including the "Tatlıses" hotel in Kuşadası, which has 157 rooms, and seaside tourist resorts.

His fortune is not limited to real estate alone, but also includes a television channel, five major kebab restaurants in Istanbul, and a fleet of luxury cars and fast yachts.
