Gold Prices Stabilize Locally with 21Karat at 9560 Dinars

Khaberni - The selling price of a gram of 21-karat gold, most desired by citizens in the local market, on Saturday was 95.60 dinars for retail purposes from jewelry shops, compared to 91.20 dinars from the buying side.

The selling prices per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat gold, for buying purposes from jewelry shops, were 109.70 and 84.80 dinars respectively.

According to Rabhi Allan, the head of the General Union of Jewelry Trade and Craftsmen Shop Owners, the price of the "Rashadi lira," weighing 7 grams, was 670 dinars, and the "English Lira," weighing 8 grams, was 765 dinars.

Allan stated that the supply and demand for gold in the local market are weak, and this is typically the case during this time of year.

He noted that the yellow metal closed its weekly trading in the global market on Friday at 4710 dollars per ounce, emphasizing that a relative stability is the prominent feature of gold prices awaiting any new political developments between the United States and Iran.
