Khaberni - The Cybercrime unit warned citizens against dealing with fake messages received on their phones which deceive the recipients into believing they are issued by official bodies and ask them to hurry in paying their traffic fines through a fraudulent link included in the message to avoid doubling the financial fine amount or adding penalties on it.
The Cybercrime Unit urges citizens not to engage with these messages under any circumstances, to consider them as fraudulent messages, and to delete them from their phone as the optimal measure to avoid falling victim to electronic fraud and to rely on official known sites to conduct such transactions.
