Conciliatory Delegation in Irbid Resolves Conflict Between Abu Hija and Abu Abbas Tribes

Khaberni - A tribal delegation resolved a conflict that arose between the Abu Abbas and Abu Hija tribes following an attack by a member of the Abu Abbas tribe on the late Ahmad Saleh Abu Hija.

In an atmosphere dominated by the spirit of forgiveness and a commitment to tribal unity, the sons of the late Ahmad Saleh Abu Hija—Mohammad, Saed, Walid, Subhi, and Nur al-Din—on behalf of themselves and the entire Abu Hija tribe, declared full forgiveness for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and in honor of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, reaffirming their adherence to the authentic tribal values based on forgiveness and reconciliation.

The delegation was led on behalf of the Al-Oudat tribe by Sheikh Malik Al-Oudat, accompanied by retired General Ali Salama Al-Khalidi.

The delegation headed to the guesthouse of the Abu Hija tribe, where they were welcomed by a group of the tribe's notables and their relatives and neighbors, led by: Saleh Jaber Al-Hija (Abu Akram), Sheikh Abdullah Abu Hija (Abu Hamza), Marwan Abu Hija (Abu Hakam), Mubarak Abu Hija (Abu Basel), and Saleh Abu Hija (Abu Yaman).

The delegation resulted in the granting of a tribal 'Atwa' combined with reconciliation.
