Khaberni - The focus is shifting toward Samsung's upcoming wide foldable phone, where it is rumored that this edition named Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will come with a brand new design.
According to new leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will differ slightly from the previously expected dimensions, as it will be slimmer and will feature an internal screen similar to the iPad's screen.
The well-known leaker "Ice Universe" reported that the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will be 82.2 × 123.9 × 9.8 mm when folded, and 161.4 mm when unfolded, with a thickness of only 4.3 mm, according to a report from the "9to5Google" technology news site, which was reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
This would be significantly slimmer than the recently launched Huawei Pora X Max, and slimmer when unfolded compared to initial reports that discussed a thickness of 4.9 mm.
But what’s more interesting here is the screen aspect ratio.
While previous leaks hinted at an aspect ratio close to 16:10, the latest leaks claim that the "Wide" phone will come with a 4:3 ratio, which is the same aspect ratio as Apple's iPad tablet, as well as the expected ratio for the upcoming foldable iPhone.
Although a 4:3 ratio isn’t ideal for video content, it seems more suitable for applications and general content.
It is expected that "Samsung" will launch this Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide phone in July alongside the basic edition of the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 8.
