Khaberni - A passenger on board a Ryanair flight surprised fellow travelers by hiding inside the overhead luggage compartment during a flight from Malta to Naples, Italy.
The content creator, active on TikTok under the username "@gaetanino97", documented the incident in a video where he claimed that his goal was to avoid paying for a return ticket, sarcastically commenting, "How to not pay for a return ticket.. but they caught me".
The video showed the passenger lying in the designated luggage space, shouting the name of his city "Naples" amid the laughter of other passengers.
In another clip, the same person appeared in a state of severe anger inside the airport lounge after missing the flight, where he began to scream and push the barriers.

Despite some reactions of laughter, the incident faced sharp criticism from social media users, where some demanded placing him on the no-fly list, considering his behavior disrespectful to the crew and a breach of safety regulations.

Aviation experts pointed out that the passenger’s claim of saving money was illogical, as he could not access the plane without a boarding pass in the first place. Ironically, Ryanair charges additional fees for using overhead lockers for luggage, meaning that "storing himself" there could theoretically cost more than sitting in his seat.
