Sponsored by Egypt An American club prepares a huge offer to sign Mohamed Salah

Khaberni - Media reports revealed more developments about the future of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, and his next destination after announcing his departure from the holder of the English Premier League title at the end of the current season.
The global network "The Athletic" mentioned that officials of the American football league are targeting to acquire the services of many stars in the upcoming period, after they succeeded in securing golden deals like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Son Heung-min, Antoine Griezmann, and others.

It explained that from a global popularity perspective, there is another name that could surpass all others except for Messi, which is Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. The American league is eagerly looking to add this winger to one of its teams, focusing on securing major deals after the World Cup.

It reported that if Mohamed Salah moves to the American league, his most likely destination remains the San Diego club, and there are many obstacles in completing the deal.

The league officials told several teams, as reported by the same network, that Mohamed Salah is not subject to screening procedures, meaning he is exempted from these procedures that grant clubs the priority right to negotiate with specified players where the American league gives San Diego a period to negotiate with the Egyptian winger and his agents.

This system is a legal mechanism in the American league meaning that the club that puts a player on its target list becomes the exclusive right holder to negotiate with him within the United States.

The San Diego club is owned by Egyptian-British billionaire Mohammed Mansour, but it is unlikely that they will advance an offer similar to that indicated by some sources related to the Saudi league, especially Al Nassr.

It pointed out that nevertheless, San Diego may be open to an arrangement similar to what was used in the deals of David Beckham and Messi, where they obtained an ownership percentage as part of the deal.

Beckham's famous contract included a clause allowing him to buy a new team in the American soccer league, which later became Inter Miami, while Messi's contract included an ownership stake in Inter Miami to be activated upon his retirement.

According to the same network, San Diego might include a similar clause in Mohamed Salah's contract to entice him by offering an ownership stake in the Egyptian "Right to Dream" academy.

The Mansour group invested $120 million to acquire "Right to Dream", which owns academies in Africa, the United States, and Denmark, in addition to an academy in West Cairo.

Mohamed Salah spent nine years with Liverpool and decided to put an end to his career with the Reds at the end of that season.

His name was linked with more than one destination like the Saudi and American leagues, as well as some clubs in Europe.
