Khaberni - Behind the closed doors of the operating rooms, where silence reigns and is only broken by the buzzing of medical devices and the rapid beating of hearts, a medical team fought a humanitarian battle lasting 18 and a half hours.
The details of the operation took place in Saudi Arabia, specifically inside an operating room at the King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital, located in the King Abdulaziz Medical City related to the Ministry of the National Guard in Riyadh.
Success of the separation operation
The specialized medical and surgical team affiliated with the "Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins" has today, Friday, completed the fourth and fifth stages of the operation to separate the conjoined Filipino twins "Clea and Morris Ann".
The completion of the stages followed a surgical operation for a complex case, considered one of the most complicated in the world, and the details of which were reported by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
The fourth and fifth stages of the twin separation operation included details related to reconstruction, cosmetic procedures, and closing of the skull, and the first three stages were completed with full success, as stated by the head of the medical and surgical team, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah.
