Khaberni - The Commissioner of Tourism and Youth Affairs in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Thabit Al-Nabulsi, confirmed that Aqaba is experiencing escalating tourism activity, supported by expanding partnerships with regional markets.
Al-Nabulsi stated to "Al-Mamlaka", that the hotel occupancy rates in Aqaba reached 87% during the weekend, distributed as 92% for five-star hotels, 83% for four-star hotels, and 88% for three-star hotels, which confirms the growing demand for the city.
He explained that these indicators reflect the success of promotional efforts and the facilities provided, mentioning a meeting with about 100 agents and representatives of tourism companies from the Arab residents in Palestine, anticipating the continuation of this momentum, and expecting a rise in occupancy rates in the coming period.
