Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate continues, through the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection, Media Management, Community Police, and its various field units, to implement its monitoring and awareness environmental campaigns across different provinces of the kingdom, coinciding with the increased number of visitors at touristic and natural sites and recreational areas, with the aim of protecting the environment and enhancing civic behavior among citizens.
The members of the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection and Community Police attended among the picnickers and visitors to raise their environmental awareness and instill concepts of community responsibility in maintaining the cleanliness of these sites and preserving their natural components.
The campaigns included distributing specialized garbage bags to picnickers, along with providing educational guidelines urging them to collect waste and not to leave it behind, which contributes to reducing negative practices and preserving the beauty and sustainability of the natural sites.
The Public Security Directorate emphasized that these campaigns are part of its ongoing strategy to enhance the environmental protection system, calling upon citizens and visitors to adhere to the instructions and guidelines, and to actively participate in protecting the environment, considering it a shared national responsibility that requires united efforts to ensure a clean and safe environment.
