Khaberni - The Chinese technology company "DeepSeek" announced on Friday the launch of a new artificial intelligence model, stating that it is reasonably priced and is one of the most efficient models in the world.
The technology sector worldwide had been anticipating this announcement for weeks, indicating China's ambitions in this field.
The company stated via the social media platform "WeChat", "We have officially launched the beta version of the new DeepSeek-V4 series, which is available as open source."
The new model is available in two versions: "DeepSeek-V4-Pro" and "DeepSeek-V4-Flash," both of which the company said are less expensive.
"DeepSeek" noted a significant improvement in the capabilities of "DeepSeek-V4-Pro" compared to the previous generation.
It explained that "DeepSeek-V4" features a remarkable ability to process texts up to a million characters, meaning this new model is capable of storing and understanding one million characters in one go.
In January 2025, "DeepSeek" stunned the world and reshaped the artificial intelligence landscape by launching its conversation robot, which it claimed competes with American robots "GeminAI," "ChatGPT," and "Claud," but at a lower cost.
