Khaberni - American businessman Elon Musk announced, via a post on the social networking platform "X", the start of production of the "Cybercab" (Cybercab), a fully self-driving taxi model from Tesla.
Musk briefly wrote: "Cybercab production has started", in an announcement awaited by technology enthusiasts and the smart transport sector around the world.
Musk had previously unveiled the "Cybercab robocab" in October, during an event titled "We Are Robots", where he mentioned that the new vehicle would not have pedals or a steering wheel, indicating that its use in the future would be ten times easier than driving a traditional car.
The American billionaire compared Tesla's new innovation to an elevator's operation, describing it as a "press the button and forget" system, referring to the simplicity of use and the absence of human intervention in the driving process.
It is worth mentioning that Musk had previously announced his plans to start production of this vehicle in 2026 in the state of Texas, USA, in a step aimed at bringing about a qualitative shift in the urban transport and autonomous mobility technologies sector.
This step is part of Tesla's ongoing efforts to consolidate its leadership in the field of electric vehicles and artificial intelligence, amid escalating global competition in the race to develop future transportation solutions.
