The city includes several famous archaeological sites, among the most prominent of them is the archaeological site of the city of Mactaris "Maktharis," which contains large Roman landmarks including a triumphal arch, Roman baths, and temples, along with other archaeological sites such as "Musti," "Zama," and "Megolithics of Las."

Siliana is also known for Mount Serj, which is a favorite destination for adventure lovers and long-distance walkers, with its highest peaks reaching 1357 meters above sea level, making it the fifth highest peak in Tunisia. The mountain hosts a national park that serves as an ecological haven containing rare plants and diverse animals.
Mount Serj is also famous for the "Ain Dhab" cave, which is considered one of the most beautiful caves in the world. The cave stretches for more than 3 kilometers inside the mountain and contains rooms filled with unique rock formations penetrated by an underground river.
Siliana also includes the village of "Kesra," the highest inhabited village in Tunisia, distinguished by its waterfalls, natural springs, and traditional stone houses, located at an altitude exceeding 1000 meters.

Ecotourism
On his part, the civil society activist, Wael Wasslati, said that tourists are now preferring biological and ecological tourism, explaining that Siliana is rich with forests, waterfalls, and enchanting historical sites, which provide the visitor with a sense of psychological comfort.
He confirmed to "Al Ain News" that visiting this city offers an opportunity to discover its rich past, enjoy the beauty of the present, alongside breathing clean air and enjoying nature.
He mentioned that despite the beauty of the area, Siliana needs more investments to develop its infrastructure and enhance the tourism sector, which ensures the sustainability of its natural and archaeological resources.
On his behalf, the regional delegate for tourism in Siliana, Murad Abdallaoui, said that the region includes 11 tourism projects, among them family hosting projects and 10 rural stays.
He confirmed that the destination is experiencing a revival in the field of tourism investment, particularly in new types of accommodations and rural stays, pointing out that it is expected to open 3 new rural stays this year in the region.
