Khaberni - Revealing details were unveiled about the impactful last days of the late Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahad, who fought a silent battle with cancer far from the limelight, preferring to keep her privacy until the last moments.
Her business manager, Yousif Al-Ghait, explained that the beginning of her illness journey dates back to early 2024, when her diagnosis was made, yet she did not give up and returned to work despite the challenging health conditions, considering that art was her only outlet to cope with the psychological pain.
Despite attempts to convince her to stop working, she clung to her artistic career, refusing to withdraw, and believing that her connection to art was an essential part of her strength against the disease.
Al-Ghait mentioned that her health deteriorated significantly from mid-2025, where she gradually lost the ability to communicate and understand, with her body stopping responding to treatment during her last days before entering a very critical phase.
He added that the doctors informed her family of the approach of the end of her life two days before her death, which was announced on April 21, 2026, thus ending a long human and artistic journey.
In a notable humanitarian side, Al-Ghait revealed that the late artist did not prefer isolation while receiving treatment but made sure to be among other patients, where she provided psychological support, especially to women and children, along with charitable contributions she made away from the media.
With her passing, the Arab artistic scene lost one of its most prominent icons, after a career that spanned more than six decades, leaving behind an artistic and humanitarian legacy that will remain present in the memory of generations.
