Hezbollah vows to overthrow the Yellow Line and attacks negotiations with Israel

Khaberni - Hezbollah's representative Hussein Fadlallah described direct negotiations with Israel as a major mistake that increases internal division in Lebanon, warning against going into internal clashes, and calling for a redrawing of policies with minimum negotiation.

During a press conference in the Lebanese capital Beirut, Fadlallah emphasized that the state is not limited to the authorities but includes all Lebanese, saying that the state comprises the land, people, and institutions and cannot be reduced to just the authorities.

These statements from Hezbollah's representative came hours before the launch of the second round hosted by Washington of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon.
Last week, the US administration announced an agreement to end the war launched by Israel on Lebanon for a month and a half, and the start of direct negotiations between the two parties for the first time in decades. Hezbollah strongly opposes conducting direct negotiations with Israel.

According to Fadlallah, the problem with the authority is not with Hezbollah but with a wide segment of Lebanese who refuse direct negotiations with Israel, confirming that the "Yellow Line" in southern Lebanon and all the repercussions of the war will be overthrown.

He added, "when the state fails, the resistance appears," stating that what the resistance has provided over 40 years is what the Lebanese see.

He also demanded "to meet and work together to confront the aggression," emphasizing that no authority contradicting communal living is legitimate, and that this is stipulated in the Lebanese constitution.
