Khaberni - The Iranian Deputy of Hajj and Umrah Affairs announced that the Iranian pilgrims will start heading to Saudi Arabia from April 17, and the first group will arrive in Medina on April 27.
The Iranian official clarified that more than 29,000 pilgrims will be sent across 236 caravans, noting that registration processes have been completed, and visas for the operational staff have been issued, with a portion of them already sent as part of the preparations for the Hajj season.
Earlier, the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Abbas Salehi, announced Iran's official participation in the upcoming Hajj season in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, next month.
