Khaberni - The occupying army confirmed the continued presence of its forces in southern Lebanon during the ceasefire to counter Hezbollah's activities.
The occupying army warned the residents against moving south of the designated line or approaching the Litani River and its surroundings until further notice.
It renewed the prohibition of returning to more than 40 towns and locations in southern Lebanon citing ongoing security measures.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupying forces continued to detonate homes in the town of Hanin in southern Lebanon.

In turn, Anadolu Agency quoted a high-ranking Lebanese official saying that today's anticipated meeting in Washington with Israel is a continuation of the meeting the two sides held last week.
He added, "We will request in the meeting to extend the ceasefire period and stop the demolition of homes in the occupied villages in the south of the country."
