Barcelonas Lead Under Getafes Microscope and Real Pursues the Last Hope Against Betis

Khaberni - Real Madrid is aiming to secure its second consecutive victory in the Spanish Football League, when they visit Real Betis on Friday in the thirty-second round of the competition.

Managed by Álvaro Arbeloa, the team holds the second position in the league standings with 73 points, trailing nine points behind the leader Barcelona, while Real Betis is in the fifth position with 49 points.
Betis was knocked out of the Europa League last week in the quarterfinal against Sporting Braga, but returned to winning ways last Tuesday, after defeating Girona 3-2 in the Spanish league.
Under coach Manuel Pellegrini, the team has achieved 12 victories, 13 draws, and suffered seven defeats in 32 league matches this season, securing the fifth position which qualifies for the Europa League.
Betis has a good record in home matches, having earned 26 points from 15 games hosted this season, with only three defeats.
Entering the match with high morale, Betis had won against Real Madrid 2-1 at their home last season, but suffered a hefty defeat 1-5 in the first leg held at Bernabeu Stadium last January.
