AlBalbisi The Jordanian Academy of Public Administration a qualitative leap in leadership preparation

Khaberni - State Minister for Public Sector Development, Engineer Badriya Al-Balbisi, said that the launch of the "Jordanian Academy of Public Administration" represents a legal and qualitative transition for the role of the "Administration Institute", to become a more comprehensive institution and capable of keeping up with rapid administrative changes.

Al-Balbisi explained that the national reform projects within the comprehensive modernization vision, require human resources with professional capabilities, with modernization changing every 6 months, which necessitated the creation of a national platform for the production of applied knowledge and enhancing government performance efficiency.

Three centers for decision-making and innovation
Al-Balbisi revealed that the academy will include three specialized centers; the first for leadership preparation, the second for policies and innovation, and the third for future readiness.

She pointed out that "policy labs" will test any policy before its generalization, making it an essential part of the decision-making system.


She emphasized that this development will absolutely reflect on the citizen by improving the level of services provided, considering human resources as the main driver of development and stability.

An imminent launch following the royal approval
Regarding the start date, the minister explained that the legislative aspect was completed by approving the system, and as soon as the royal approval for forming the board of trustees is issued, the first meeting will be held to present the comprehensive plan and officially launch.

She emphasized that the academy is not just an addition, but a radical development of the state's tools in building future leadership and improving the lives of citizens.
