Khaberni - Yusuf Al-Shawarbeh, head of the Amman Municipality Committee, said on Wednesday that the municipality continues the development of parks and recreation areas, indicating the imminent opening of a new park in the Marj Al-Hammam area on an area of approximately 54 dunams.
Al-Shawarbeh added, in a statement to "Al-Mamlaka" channel, that there is an annual program that concerns the opening of new parks and the maintenance of existing ones.
He expected the Marj Al-Hammam recreation area to be handed over within two weeks.
