Blake Lively Escalates Against Justin Baldoni and Seeks Record Compensation

Khaberni - Blake Lively's case witnesses a new escalation in her legal dispute with director and actor Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Productions.

Lively has raised the amount of compensation she is seeking to more than $300 million, accusing the other party of causing significant damage to her reputation and professional career.

According to official documents filed on April 17, this claim came weeks before an anticipated court session on May 18, reflecting a significant shift in the course of the case.

Lively had previously demanded about $161 million in November 2025, before reassessing the extent of her losses and raising the compensation ceiling.

Lively confirms that being described with negative attributes such as "bully" and "unprofessional" has led to direct damages to her public image, which has clearly impacted her income.

Estimates indicate losses ranging between $36 and $40 million due to decreased work opportunities, plus about $24 million linked to widespread media statements attributed to Baldoni’s lawyer.

Specialized reports predict that Lively may lose between $34 and $87 million in future revenue in the film and television sectors, due to disruptions in potential projects over the coming years.

The losses did not stop at the artistic field, as the lawsuit explained that her two trademarks, Betty Booze and Blake Brown, saw a decline in profits, with estimates ranging between $39 and $143 million, due to the consequences of the legal dispute.

Additionally, Lively is seeking additional compensation ranging from $250,000 to $400,000 for psychological and moral damages she claims to have suffered.

Conversely, Justin Baldoni’s defense team denied these accusations, pointing out that some of the controversial attributes were circulated before any professional collaboration between the parties, which denies any direct relationship between them and the alleged damage.

The case also witnessed an important legal development, as a federal judge dropped 10 out of the 13 lawsuits filed by Lively, including claims related to harassment, for legal reasons.

The remaining three cases, which include breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding in it, are expected to be seen by a jury in the upcoming period, in a session that may be decisive in determining the course of the dispute.
