Educational Arab Amman University holds a training course on the uses of artificial intelligence in educational courses

Khaberni  -  As part of the ongoing efforts of Arab Amman University in developing the skills of its students and enhancing their readiness for the demands of the job market, the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, with support from the King Abdullah II Development Fund, organized a training course titled: "Uses of Artificial Intelligence in Educational Courses," presented by: Dr. Nisba Al-Sawa, the vice dean of the college, and Professor Dr. Jihad Al-Momani, faculty members in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences.

The course focused on equipping the students with practical skills in using a variety of artificial intelligence-supported programs, thereby enhancing their ability to efficiently and effectively integrate technology within their teaching and learning strategies, in alignment with the college's vision aimed at preparing educational personnel capable of keeping up with the digital transformation in the educational sector. The course covered a number of key topics including artificial intelligence applications in education, mechanisms for designing educational activities using these technologies, and methods of assessment and academic monitoring supported by artificial intelligence, along with showcasing practical models that reflect the practical uses of these tools.

The course witnessed notable interaction from the participating students, who emphasized the importance of these topics in developing their academic and professional skills, and enhancing their ability to innovate, keeping up with the demands of the era and contributing to the further development of their educational practices in the future. The holding of such courses stems from the commitment of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Arab Amman University to elevate the students' level in a distinguished institutional field and to encourage diverse training workshops inside and outside the college for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
