Khaberni - The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Amman Al-Ahliyya University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, within the course “Biodiversity” and Genetics Technology Club, organized a scientific visit to the Royal Botanic Garden, as part of enhancing the practical aspect and linking theoretical knowledge to practical reality.
The visit was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Rasha Tarawneh, along with several faculty members and laboratory supervisors, who accompanied the students and provided them with scientific guidance during the tour.
The students were introduced to the rich diversity of local plants and the various ecosystems hosted by the garden, where specialists provided a detailed explanation of the importance of conserving biodiversity and its role in achieving ecological balance and sustainability of natural resources.
Supervisors emphasized the importance of these field visits in developing students' research skills and enhancing their environmental awareness, pointing out their role in preparing cadres capable of dealing with environmental and agricultural challenges using modern scientific methods.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their benefit from this scientific experience, which allowed them direct interaction with nature and the acquisition of practical knowledge supportive of their academic and professional journeys.
