Khaberni - Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam confirmed on Tuesday that Lebanon is demanding a "full withdrawal" of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, alongside the return of Lebanese prisoners and displaced persons, within the framework of ongoing negotiations with Israel, ahead of a new meeting scheduled for Thursday in Washington.
The United States is hosting a new round of talks between Israel and Lebanon on Thursday, aimed at advancing towards an agreement following a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, according to a US official.
During a press conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron, Salam stated that his country needs 500 million euros to address the humanitarian crisis.
He added that "Lebanon needs 500 million euros to face the humanitarian crisis over the next six months".
His statements came after the official announcement of the increase in the toll of Israeli strikes in Lebanon to 2454 martyrs and more than 7600 wounded since the outbreak of the war.
