Khaberni - The Eastern Governorate, north of Egypt, witnessed a heartbreaking human tragedy, where wedding lights and joyous ululations turned into funeral procession and farewell, shortly after the wedding ceremony of the young bride “Farah Medhat” due to a sudden health crisis.
The tragic event started in the last minutes of the wedding held yesterday evening, Monday. While the bride was preparing to leave the hall and head to her marital home, she suddenly collapsed, unconscious due to a severe exhaustion.
Immediately, her relatives rushed to transfer her to a nearby hospital in an urgent attempt to save her, but to no avail.
A medical source at the Ministry of Health stated that the bride arrived at the hospital in a critical condition suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest.
The medical team at the hospital quickly performed intensive cardiopulmonary resuscitation "CPR" in an attempt to restore the pulse to her heart, before she was transferred to the intensive care unit under close and continuous observation.
Despite the precise medical attempts, the "Bride of the Eastern Governorate" passed away this morning, Tuesday, after the failure of the vital signs to respond, amid shock and astonishment of her groom and their families.
Deep sadness prevailed throughout the governorate, as friends of the deceased bride mourned her with heartfelt words, describing her as the “bride of paradise”, and expressing their profound shock at her sudden departure on what was supposed to be the most beautiful night of her life.
The funeral of the bride is scheduled to be held in her hometown, with a large number of locals expected to attend to console her family and bid her farewell to her final resting place.
