The Truth About Fadel Shakers Death An Official Statement Clarifies the Details

Khaberni - Fadel Shaker's business manager clarified the truth about his death rumor, confirming his stable health condition, as his trial sessions approach in April/May 2026.

Eyad Al-Naqib, the business manager of the Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker, denied the reports circulated on social media platforms today, Tuesday, about his death inside his detention on the background of the cases pending against him in the Lebanese judiciary.

Al-Naqib explained in press statements that Fadel Shaker is in good health and is not suffering from any health symptoms that cause concern or justify what is being circulated about his condition, according to him.

He mentioned that he had communication this morning with the lawyer Amata Mubarak, the legal representative of the artist, who also confirmed that his health condition is stable and does not cause concern, which denies the validity of the news being spread, according to his expression.

He pointed out that the business management deliberately did not respond through official statements on the artist’s social media accounts, to avoid further spreading of this news, believing that responding to them would not prevent their spread. He also sent a reassuring message to the public, confirming that the artist is fine, and that what is being circulated is not true.

This clarification came after a widespread spread of the artist's death rumor in the early hours of the morning on social media platforms, which brought back concerns about his health, especially in light of previous reports about complications related to diabetes during late November 2025, coinciding with the approaching trial sessions.

In a related context, the concerned circles are awaiting the trial session of Fadel Shaker scheduled for Friday, April 24th, to hear the final pleas in the cases directed against him, which include incitement to murder, financing terrorism, and illegal possession of weapons, at a time when estimates suggest the possibility of reaching a judicial settlement that might end with his acquittal, especially after the prosecutor Halal Hammoud appeared for the first time before the court during last February, testifying in the case of the events of Sidon.

Another session is also expected to be held on May 26th, following the decision of the Lebanese military court on March 24th to postpone the hearing of the case at the request of the defense team, to allow for the submission of additional requests, where it is expected that this session will be an important milestone in the course of the case related to the events of Abra and the clashes that occurred between the Lebanese Army and the group of Ahmed Al-Assir, which has been widely followed in Lebanon in recent years.
