Khaberni - The Minister of Investment, Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, said that the ministry is working on restructuring the investment strategy and institutionalizing it within a national government framework, which contributes to enhancing the investment environment and opening up to the private sector and searching for feasible investment opportunities.
Abu Ghazaleh confirmed during a meeting with Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, experts, media, economic journalists and writers, at the Prime Minister’s headquarters on Tuesday, that starting the national carrier and Aqaba railway projects represents a new and important phase in accomplishing national projects that enhance Jordan's economic status.
He pointed out that foreign investments in the kingdom last year in 2025 were about 2 billion dollars, an increase of 25 percent compared to the previous year, mentioning that the ministry has investment requests that are expected to be offered in the second half of this year amounting to about 5 billion dollars.
