Khaberni - Hamas stated that it conducted many meetings and consultations in Cairo with mediators and Palestinian factions regarding the implementation of the rest of the commitments of the first phase (Sharm el-Sheikh Agreement) and the preparation for discussing the arrangements for the second stage, in the light of US President Donald Trump's plan.
The movement added, in a statement on Tuesday, that it and the Palestinian factions dealt with the proposals presented with high responsibility and positivity in order to reach an acceptable agreement.
Hamas confirmed that it is interested in continuing negotiations with the mediators to overcome all obstacles, explaining that it will present its response to the proposals after completing consultations with the movement's leadership and the Palestinian factions.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to breach the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, through aerial bombardment and artillery towards the displaced people’s locations, alongside demolition and destruction operations within what is known as the Yellow Line, with ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, aid, and travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs since the start of the ceasefire on October 10th has increased to 780 martyrs, in addition to 2193 injuries, with 761 extraction cases additionally recorded.
