Khaberni - Artist Majed El Masry revealed his opinion about some artists who consistently exploit social media platforms to achieve gains that may ultimately be harmful, pointing to the nature of the controversy that has recently arisen about the most viewed, where he confirmed that success for him is measured by the street and the public’s reaction, not what is written on social media.
At an art symposium held in his honor, El Masry said: "The street is the measure of success for me, and the reaction of people on the street is the most important thing. In my opinion, there are people who consider social media a source of income, just wanting to babble and say anything to get views and provoke the audience, and there are malicious people; we are outside all that talk and all that assessment, for us the measure is the street, the real people."
