Khaberni - The Jordan Chamber of Commerce appreciated the Cabinet's decision to extend the period for renewing professional licenses within municipality areas until the end of June 30, 2026, without imposing any penalties on applicants, aiming to enable investors and professionals to complete the procedures to obtain the required licenses.
The Chamber confirmed in a statement today that the decision represents a positive step reflecting the government's keenness to support the business environment and alleviate financial and procedural burdens on the private sector, especially under the current economic conditions.
It added that extending the deadline gives professionals more time to rectify their situations and complete the requirements for electronic licensing, which contributes to enhancing compliance and improving the level of services provided within the municipality areas.
The Chamber pointed out the importance of continuing to simplify procedures and develop government services related to professional licensing, which enhances the competitiveness of the national economy and supports the sustainability of commercial and service activities.
