Khaberni - A planned fight between a group of youths turned into a mass shooting at a park in North Caroline, USA, on Monday morning, with several individuals exchanging fire with each other.
The police mentioned in a social media post that the mass shooting occurred at 10 AM at Lynnpark near Jefferson Middle School in the city of Winston Salem.
The police did not specify the number of shooting victims, and stated that the suspects are still at large.
The North Carolina Bureau of Investigation mentioned that the shooting did not occur at the school which was locked down until the area was secured after the incident.
The police have been able to identify many individuals, both victims and suspects, and locate them, but efforts to determine everyone's fate are ongoing. Some of those involved in the incident were juveniles.
The shooting took place in a park in a residential suburb northwest of Winston Salem, a city with a population of about 250,000 known for decades as the home of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company.
