Report Vance heading to Pakistan

Khaberni - US and Pakistani officials anticipate that the US Vice President J.D. Vance will head to the Pakistani capital Islamabad today, to participate in a new round of talks with the Iranian delegation.
The American site "Axios" reported that the Vice President JD Vance, traveled to Pakistan for the second round of talks with Iran.

This development comes amidst uncertainty surrounding the Iranian stance on participation in the negotiations, as Tehran has not yet confirmed its participation.

On his part, the Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, considered that his country does not accept negotiations under threat, while a senior Iranian official told "Reuters" that Tehran is considering attending peace talks, following Islamabad's moves to end the American blockade of Iranian ports.

President Donald Trump had announced yesterday that the American delegation led by Vance was already en route to Pakistan, but later, American media reported that Vance had not yet departed, creating conflicting information regarding the timing of the delegation's arrival and the start of the new round of negotiations.

The talks are part of a political effort to end or ease the conflict with Iran, highlighting Pakistan's role as a regional mediator, amid expectations that the negotiations will cover issues related to the war and regional security arrangements.
