Khaberni - After witnessing Hany Shaker's condition, who is lying in "Foch" Hospital in the French capital Paris, deteriorate significantly in the past few hours, the President of the Egyptian Community in France revealed new details about the artist's situation.
Saleh Farhoud said that Shaker is in a very critical condition, following the respiratory failure he experienced on Sunday, according to Al Arabiya.
Mechanical ventilation and precise medical monitoring
Farhoud also added that the medical team treating the artist has decided to prohibit visits, even though there were some famous personalities in France who wanted to see him on Sunday morning, but their request was apologized for because his condition cannot tolerate visits.
He further stated that Shaker is in the intensive care unit, and only his wife and son are allowed to enter to see him from time to time.
He also explained that the artist is still on mechanical ventilation, with precise medical monitoring, as doctors try to control his condition and gradually wean him off the machines, but when they do so, the oxygen level worryingly drops, which forces them to put him back on the machines again.
Suffered from complications
A source close to Shaker confirmed that the artist was supposed to return to Cairo during the recent period, but the medical team decided to keep him in the hospital due to the instability of his condition in recent days.
The source also indicated that the artist was suffering from complications of the health crisis he recently experienced, especially due to the difficulty of the surgery he underwent, as well as the medical protocol adopted in treating his condition not being strong enough to allow him to leave the hospital.
Subsequently, Shaker's condition experienced a sudden setback, due to him suffering from respiratory failure, with the lungs unable to function normally.
This confused the medical team treating him, especially since this setback moved him from a reassuring stage to a dangerous condition again, which made them change the treatment plan to control the deterioration of his condition.
