Khaberni - The American wrestler Mark Hildreth, known as "Van Hammer", died suddenly at the age of 66.
Death of a Famous American Wrestler
The British newspaper "Mirror" reported that Hildreth passed away without knowledge of the real cause of death so far, indicating that an autopsy is expected to be performed very soon.
The former American wrestler Mark Mero announced Hammer's death by saying "With heavy hearts, I share with you the news of the departure of our dear friend Mark Hildreth, known to many as Van Hammer."
He added, "At the moment we are still waiting to learn the cause of death, until the autopsy is performed."
He continued, "Mark was a fighter in every sense of the word. He faced many challenges in his life, but he had an amazing spirit of perseverance, always finding a way to get up, move forward, and continue. I have many wonderful memories with him that I will carry with me forever."
Mero concluded, "I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans who supported him throughout his career. Rest in peace my friend, you will always be remembered."
The late Hammer began his wrestling career in 1991 and joined the "World Championship Wrestling" (WCW) that same year, continuing with it for 9 years.
He also fought in the heavyweight category for a short period with "World Wrestling Entertainment" (WWE), but his greatest successes were with the former, where he managed to achieve victories over prominent wrestlers like Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
