Khaberni - Supported by the Tourism Promotion Authority, and amidst the security, safety, and stability that Jordan enjoys, landed at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, yesterday afternoon, Sunday, April 19, 2026, which coincides with World Heritage Day, a charter flight coming from France, carrying 105 French tourists, organized by Atelier Voyages.
The General Director of the Authority, Ramzi Al-Muaitah, confirmed that the arrival of this charter flight from the French market is a positive indicator of the recovery of inbound tourist movement to the Kingdom, and affirm Jordan's ability to regain its place on the global tourism map, noting that the Authority works in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and all partners to stimulate tourism by implementing marketing plans and a support program for charter and low-cost flights in a flexible way that responds to market fluctuations and enhances the competitiveness of the Jordanian tourism product as a comprehensive tourist destination, focusing on diversifying target markets and attracting more quality flights in the upcoming phase.
He added that attracting these direct charter flights from the main touristic markets and the return of confidence in the Jordanian tourism market, indicate the intensive marketing efforts made by the Authority in cooperation with partners in the public and private sectors.
The charter aviation team at the Authority received the group of French tourists through the French company and its agent in Jordan, Plaza Tours, where they provided explanations about the prominent touristic experiences available in Jordan, the significance of the sites their visit will include within their program in the Kingdom, assuring the Authority's commitment to enhancing the tourist experience and the quality of services, and presenting a comprehensive image of Jordan as a safe, diverse, and authentic hospitality and world heritage sites destination.
Also, a number of French tourists within the touristic group expressed their love for Jordan and its people and confirmed their enjoyment of the touristic experience in Jordan.
