Khaberni - The condition of the artist Hani Shaker has noticeably deteriorated in the last few hours, as he almost completely lost consciousness due to decreased blood oxygen levels, negatively affecting the cognitive centers in the brain.
The medical team treating the artist decided to readmit him to the intensive care unit two days ago, due to a relapse he suffered and a sudden respiratory failure.
Shaker was placed on a ventilator with close medical monitoring, as doctors sought to awaken him using medications and medical drugs and increasing the blood oxygen levels, but his body did not show any response during the past hours.
The Egyptian singer Hani Shaker is undergoing treatment at "Vouge" Hospital in the French capital, Paris, following a severe health crisis in the past weeks, after undergoing a delicate surgery to remove the colon.
A source close to Shaker had previously stated to "Alarabiya.net" and "Alhadath.net" that he was scheduled to return to Cairo recently, but the treating medical team decided to keep him in the hospital as his condition had not improved and was unstable in recent days.
The source added that the artist was suffering from complications from the recent health crisis, especially due to the difficulty of the surgery he underwent, and that the medical protocol followed did not achieve strong results that would allow him to leave the hospital.
Lately, Shaker's condition suffered a sudden relapse due to suffering respiratory failure and the inability of the lungs to function normally, which confused the treating medical team, especially since the cause of the relapse was not determined, moving him from a reassuring medical phase to a renewed critical condition, necessitating a change in the treatment plan to control the deterioration he was experiencing.
