Khaberni - His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, discussed today, Monday, ways to enhance cooperation and coordination concerning regional developments.
During the meeting held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of Bahrain, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to his brother His Majesty King Hamad, and his wishes for him to remain in good health and success, as well as carrying greetings from His Majesty King Hamad to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for his brother His Majesty the King.
The meeting emphasized the need to intensify efforts to sustain the ceasefire and restore stability in the region and to contain the conflict through recourse to dialogue and diplomacy.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince appreciated the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain through its presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the current month of April, in serving Arab causes and enhancing joint Arab action.
His Royal Highness affirmed Jordan's full support for the brothers in Bahrain and the Gulf states, emphasizing that the security of the Arab Gulf states is pivotal for the security and stability of the entire region.
His Majesty King Hamad affirmed his pride in the exceptional relations connecting the two brotherly countries and the continuous development and growth they witness, stressing his keenness to enhance them in a manner that serves mutual interests.
His Majesty the King of Bahrain expressed his appreciation for the efforts of His Majesty the King in enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, praising Jordan's steadfast positions and its support and solidarity with Bahrain during the recent Iranian assaults.
From the Jordanian side, the meeting was attended by the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain, Rami Al Wariqat, and the Director of the Office of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Dr. Zaid Al Baqaeen.
From the Bahraini side, the meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, His Highness Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor Commander of the Royal Guard Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, and His Highness Brigadier General Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations at the Royal Guard.
Welcoming His Highness upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain was His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of Bahrain.
