Khaberni - Ice Spice, the rapper, responded sarcastically to a video of her altercation with a fan inside a Hollywood restaurant, and her lawyer confirmed that legal actions are being taken.
Ice Spice commented on a video clip documenting her altercation with a fan inside a famous restaurant in Hollywood, on the morning of Wednesday, April 15; she chose to respond on Friday, April 17, through the "X" platform in a sarcastic manner that brought the incident back to the forefront of digital interaction.
The audience circulated a video documenting the moment of the altercation inside the restaurant; Ice Spice appeared with a friend before a woman approached and started asking repetitive questions, causing a quick tension between the two parties. As the situation escalated, the discussion turned into a direct clash after the woman slapped the singer, who then tried to defend herself amid a chaotic situation at the venue.
Surveillance camera footage published by "TMZ" showed the events escalating quickly; one of the attendees intervened to move the woman outside the restaurant, while Ice Spice followed them, continuing the altercation outside, turning into yelling and mutual pushing before interventions by others to break up the dispute. In her statements to "TMZ", the woman justified her actions by claiming that the singer had been rude, pointing out that she responded to what she considered an offense.
For her part, Ice Spice chose to comment in a sarcastic manner; she reposted the video on the "X" platform, writing that what happened would not have occurred if she had been in a Wendy's restaurant, hinting at her collaboration with that brand. She also attached a clip of a new song, which her followers considered an attempt to turn the crisis into a promotional opportunity.
On his part, the singer’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, in statements to "Billboard" magazine, confirmed that the legal team would take action against the involved parties, explaining that the Los Angeles Police had been notified of the incident. He pointed to the possibility of filing both criminal and civil lawsuits, in addition to examining the site's responsibility due to the lack of appropriate security measures, considering that documenting the incident on video could be a decisive factor in the case.
