Trump to Fox News The agreement with Iran will be signed tonight

Khaberni -  US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News correspondent Maria Bartiromo, this Monday evening, said that an agreement with Iran will be signed "today" in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, without immediately clarifying the precise timeframe he was referring to in his statement.

According to sources, Trump issued a stern warning about the consequences of failing to reach and sign the agreement, threatening to “blow up every power station and every bridge in Iran."

For its part, Iran has not issued any official confirmation of these claims, nor has it announced as of this moment a final decision to send a delegation to Islamabad.

On the other hand, the New York Post reported, quoting Pakistani sources, that Tehran "is prepared to embark on a second round" of negotiations, although "no official decision" has been made in this regard yet.

President Trump had announced yesterday, Sunday, that a high-level American delegation including Vice President Jay D. Vance, and envoys Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner, would head to Islamabad to participate in a new round of talks.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan hosted the first face-to-face high-level meeting between the United States and Iran since the break in diplomatic relations between them in 1979, on the 11th and 12th of April. This round ended at the time without achieving a real breakthrough in the crisis.
